Course description
Soft matter physics deal with phenomena concerning polymer, colloid, liquid crystal, bio-materials, and etc. In these systems, typical physical properties are characterized in sub-um or sub-mm length scale, and slow dynamics occurs as a response to external stimulus. In this course, students will learn fundamental concept and mathematics concerning soft matter.
Expected Learning
1. Students will be able to understand the physical concept and mathematics concerning soft matter physics.
2.Students will be able to apply the concept and mathematics to understanding and explaining physical phenomena.
