Course description
After reading research papers on previous and related works to conduct your research in the master course, presenting knowledge and discussing it with your supervisor and laboratory members.
Expected Learning
- Can find appropriate literature in your field of study.
- Can read the document and give a sufficient explanation of the contents.
- Can explain sufficiently about the relationship between the document and your own research.
This class falls under the Department of Engineering Diploma Policy (B).
Course schedule
Conducted in each laboratory. For registration, consult your supervisor.
There is no orientation for this course.
Students should register as followings:

1: Guidance for finding papers that you need
2 to 5: Fix a paper under instruction of your supervisor.
Upload the schedule of your presentation in your laboratory by mid May.
6 to 10: Comprehend the paper and make presentation slides.
You need to find and read papers related to the paper to present so that you can deeply understand the contents of the paper. Also, you need to submit a summary (1 page A4 size).
11 to 14: Presentation and discussion.
Make a presentation in you lab, which includes a Q&A sesssion with supervisor and other lab members. You may need to present the paper again with sufficient updates if your presentation is pointed as "insufficient".
15: Submit a final report
You must submit a final report by the end of July based on the Q&A and comments from the supervisor and lab members.

The schedule is subject to change.
Prerequisites
In addition to the 30 hours of class time, students should refer to the distributed lecture materials and reference books and perform preparation and review according to the standard hours of our university.

Assessment/Grading
Evaluated based on your presentation (100%), including the presentation slides, Q&A, resume and final report.
The same grading as above is taken in an online class.
