Course description |
This course will contribute to cultivation of students’ ability to conduct research and development on their own initiative and is recommended to be registered at the 1st year of Master course. The purpose of this course is to perform experiments at other laboratories for acquiring broad perspective on research by experiencing research concepts and experimental techniques in different laboratories. The course is complementary to Advanced Seminar of Applied Chemistry I. |
Expected Learning |
The standard of the course is to understand research concepts and to experience experimental techniques in different laboratories. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps. |
Course schedule |
Students are required to select two appropriate experimental themes suggested by each laboratory (instrumental analyses, synthetic experiments, evaluation experiments, and so on) and conduct experiments at the laboratories. Submission of reports is necessary. |
Prerequisites |
This course is a compulsory subject. In completing this course, students will spend at least the standard amount of time as specified by the University following the adviser's guidance. |
