Course description |
In order to bring up researchers with broad scientific vision, a detailed bibliographic survey, material preparation followed by oral presentations should be performed by each student in the master program. The students should chose a topic related to but different from their research theme. |
Expected Learning |
After completing this course, the students should be able to answer the questions concerning the topics on optical measurements and related subjects. |
Course schedule |
The students should make a survey on state-of-the-art topics, which is different from their research theme based on the latest scientific literature. The findings from the survey should be summarized into a report which needs to be orally presented. The students should answer all the questions from the members based on a scientific viewpoint. |

The students will be evaluated by their plan, methods, and results of their research. 【Grade evaluation in the case of online class (The evaluation criteria are subject to change )】 The grade evaluation in this online class is premised on all attendances, and comprehensively evaluates the attitude to learn and their report. Standard study time set by the university is required to get the grade. The rate of evaluation is as follows: The plan, methods and results of the research they do is evaluated in the scale of 100%. Grade will be given according to the following criteria by comprehensive evaluation: S: 90 points or more, A: 80 or more and less than 90 points, B: 70 or more and less than 80 points, C: 60 or more and less than 70 points. |
