Course description
We think about significance of the business ethics and understand compliance, CSR, corporate governance, and the internal control.Through this lecture, we utilize many case studies of Japanese companies and argue about them from the viewpoint of business ethics.
The lecture of this course has the firsthand experiences in some corporates, and will describe actual examples from industry for case-studies, analyses and discussion.
Expected Learning
1. To outline compliance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate governance, an internal control.
2. To acquire the ability to extract underlying ethical issues from actual cases.
3. Based on case studies, to acquire behavior and attitude to prevent scandals of companies and organizations.

Prerequisites
In addition to 30 hours in the class and the preparing reports, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the classes spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University.

Assessment/Grading
Grades are given based 30% on contribution during the classes, 35% (x2) on richness of report/presentation. Only students who attend the classes more than 70% times are evaluated. They are evaluated as five levels with S, A, B, C, and D.
