Course description |
The purpose of this lecture is to acquire knowledge on magnetic properties. First, you learn basic knowledge about magnetism such as magnetic field, magnetic moment, magnetization. Next, you learn how to organize data from physical property experiments such as magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and specific heat, and how to predict the magnetism of the substance from the experimental results. |
Expected Learning |
Students are expected to correctly understand and explain the magnetism of materials from data such as magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and specific heat obtained by magnetic measurements. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps. |
