The attitude and capability to play an active part as an engineer or a researcher are cultivated through activity called planning problem solving of some themes to which it pointed at the time of Doctor's course entrance, also investigation of a case study, engineering analysis, and experiment preparation, experiment implementation, are the objective of this course. The aim is to understand the contents of the particular subjects and it polishes the ability to explain this to the others. |
| Expected Learning |
| As this seminar related to graduate school 1st year of Doctor course, the students will be able to brush-up their engineering skills more and more and do advanced research. By taking this seminar, the students will be able to prepare for writing Journal papers and international proceedings paper. |
| Course schedule |
|
* Perform a seminar, at least once a week. * Carry out the individual seminar which asks for a report of the investigation, the analysis, and the experiment to which it pointed in addition to this once or twice per week. * Make the verbal presentation of the result of research to a related society (in the case of the Doctor's course at least 2 times in International Conferences). * Write papers to the related Journal, at least once a year. |

| The report attitude and contents over the promised individual seminar, the presentation attitude in a whole seminar, the method of explanation, etc. are taken into consideration, and it evaluates synthetically. |
| Message from instructor(s) |
| For graduation from graduate school with PhD degree, the students need to write at least 2 Journal papers and present them in either national or international. It means at least 2 international proceedings papers also are necessary. Therefore, it is better to prepare at least one Journal paper and one international proceedings paper every year. |
