Students are to develop advanced level presentation skills relevant in the field of biofunction engineering through poster or oral presentations at a scientific meeting or a conference.

Expected Learning |
(1)To obtain the communication skills at domestic and international conferences.
(2)To obtain the presentation technique for making audiences understand the importance of his/her research by summarizing results.

Course schedule |
Students will prepare their presentation materials either in a poster format or powerpoit slides in which they report their recent progress in their doctor’s thesis studies. Particular emphasis is placed on developing skills to effectively communicate on the topics at the frontiers in the field to academic audiences. Students will also learn how to actively engage in discussion during question and answer session following the presentation session.

Prerequisites |
The grading will be evaluated based on the presentation of research results at conference and workshops in each research field.

Assessment/Grading |
Students will be evaluated by their doctor’s thesis advisors for the course attendance, the presentation materials, their performances during the presentation session as well as the question and answer session.
