Course description

Advanced V recognizes off-campus activities with required time, i.e., internship at company and special program at national institute, as the credit. Before registering for this course, you have to contact the BASE office.

Expected Learning

Students who apply a credit for internship activities need to submit a notification document prior to the internship activity. If the internship activity meets a credit standard in BASE, such as contents, periods and total hours in the activities, a credit will be recognized. Students who participate a special program at national institute, such as Science communicator 1 and 2, need to submit a score sheet from the national institute. Course schedule

For internship activities, submit a notification document for internship activity to BASE office. In addition, documents that prove the contents of internship activities, periods, and total hours are also necessary.

Prerequisites

Students who participate Science Communicator 1 need to take Advanced Lecture IV and V. If you participate both Science communicator 1 and 2, take Advanced lecture IV, V, VI, VII. For more details, contact the BASE office.

Assessment/Grading

For internship activities, a credit with no grading is recognized. For Science communicator 1 and 2, credits with grading are recognized on the basis of a score sheet from the National Institute.
