Course description
We need to understand and control transport phenomena of mass, heat and momentum to realize a optimal condition for the use of materials. In this lecture, we study how to describe phenomena in a mathematical form. By solving problems in each class, we understand basics in modeling. This class focuses on fundamental issues of mathematical modeling.
Expected Learning
Understanding a basics of mathematical modeling
