Course description
This course provides students with advanced scatterometry on the basis of Mie and multiple scattering phenomena. The topics covered are the rigorous Mie scattering theory, the diffusion theory of photons, and the advanced biomedical scatterometry.
Expected Learning
Students who successfully master this course will be able to:
・Understand the Mie scattering theory for arbitrarily-sized spheres and the diffusion theory of photons for multiple scattering.
・Understand the advanced methodology for biomedical scatterometry and the most newest technologies for particle characterization of extremely dense media.
