| As the students start their five-year postgraduate program, this course will help them develop diverse future careers through presentation skills training, listening to talks by Ph.D. professionals working in various fields |

| Students will be able to envision diverse career options and draw out their original plans for research and other learning to be conducted in the five-year program. |

Intensive lectures; includes off-campus activities as well. Class 1-2: Lectures on presentation skills and paper writing Class 3: Presentation by students Clas 4-5: Presentation by students Class 6-8: Lectures and discussions with Ph.D.’s working in industries, public affairs, and research institutes (This was held on May 25th (Saturday), 2020. The date in 2020 is not yet fixed) |

| Students in the Department of Food and Energy Systems Science must take this course during their first semester (M1). |
