Course description |
・December 15, 2020 (Tue) 10:00 - Seminar room B, 2F Kobushi building, College of Agriculture, Ibaraki University Students can join a class online. “The role of soil and the interaction of microbes in environmental soil” In this lecture, the fundamental role of soil and microbes in environmental soil surface area based on our previous study are outlined and reviewed. 1) The mass production of a bloom-forming cyanobacteria occurs worldwide eutrophic water bodies and is known to produce secondary metabolites. Explanation of cyanobacterial community dynamics and the wide variety of natural products. 2) Agricultural soil management practices by no-tillage and cover-cropping improve the formation of soil aggregate structures and provide storage space of nutrients that can be utilized by soil microbes. Explanation in relation to soil functions and microbial community. ・There is a possibility of changing to online lectures. |
Expected Learning |
Understanding of the fundamental soil formation process. In addition, understanding of environmental problem in agricultural field and water reservoir and a contribution and interaction of microbe on our study sites. |
