December 10, 2020 (Thursday) 10:00- Online Lecture and also a real lecture at
United graduate school building 4F 2nd conference room

Students need to understand the peculiarities of the agricultural environment, which varies depending on the target creature and region, and take measures on production technologies for that purpose. Information and robot-related technologies, which are featured as smart agriculture, are not limited to conventional technologies for labor saving and productivity improvement, but also bring about the spread of intelligence to production technologies. Through discussions by students about the ideal way of new production technologies and measures to realize sustainable production, which agricultural robotics will open up, we will deepen our understanding.
Expected Learning
Be able to understand the development and actual situation of agricultural production technology.
Be able to understand the progress of agricultural robotics.
Be able to explain their own claims about measures to achieve sustainable production by utilizing smart agriculture.

Students need to understand the current situation and issues of agriculture, rural areas, and the environment in Japan and overseas. And The relationship between own each research topic and social issues shall be able to be simply explained.
