As evidence-based policymaking are required, quantitative policy evaluation has attracted attention in the field of agricultural economics. This course deals with the theory and application of quantitative policy evaluation. Students are expected to learn the theory and deepen their understanding of policy evaluation through the discussions of case studies.
Expected Learning
・Understand the conditions necessary for unbiased policy evaluation
・Interpret the evaluation results correctly
・Review the background of evaluation results and discuss with others

Prerequisites
It is desirable to have taken lectures related to "Economics". Students need to preview and review for an amount of time as indicated in the student guidelines of TUAT, in addition to the attendance of lecture.
