Course description
This course is conducted in an intensive lecture format. An overview of lifelong learning in general is given in terms of the significance of lifelong learning society and the challenges for its construction, the contemporary significance and international comparison of lifelong learning, the history of social education and the development of lifelong learning policies, the content and methods of lifelong learning, and the roles of employees and instructors.
Expected Learning
This course is conducted in an intensive lecture format. Lecture4: International Trends in Lifelong Learning
Learn lifelong education strategies from international organizations such as UNESCO and OECD, and expand understanding of lifelong learning in Japan from a macro perspective.

Lecture5:Basic Framework of Lecture Lifelong Learning
Based on the principles of learning and education, we will organize the basic knowledge to understand today's lifelong learning.

Lecture6 Lecture: Lifetime Human Development
