Course description |
To deepen the understanding of the objectives and mathematical activities of the mathematics department, and to consider the contents of each area concretely based on the mathematical background of the teaching materials, and to aim and develop each area, qualities and abilities, learning guidance, and evaluation. to understand. In addition, through the development of teaching materials, the preparation of learning instruction plans, and the implementation of simulation classes, students will deepen their understanding of learning instruction and evaluation in each area assuming specific classes. The instructor gives lectures utilizing practical experience in junior and senior high schools. |
Expected Learning |
Understand the educational goals and qualifications and abilities aimed at fostering mathematics, deepen the understanding of the contents of mathematics indicated in the curriculum guidelines in relation to the background academic domain, and based on various theories of learning guidance. To learn how to design lessons for specific lesson situations. |
Course schedule |
3 days intensive lecture First day 1: Guidance, goals of mathematics, philosophy of mathematics education 2: Area "Number and expression": Components of the teaching plan and how to create it 3: Area "number and expression": number concept, explanation using character expression, equation 4: Area "Number and expression": Teaching material development 5: Area "Figure": Drawing, figure and measurement, figure and proof, figure and proof the 2nd day 6: Area "Figure": Teaching material development 7: Area "Function": Meaning of function, utilization of function 8: Domain “Functions”: Teaching material development * Report (Creation of learning teaching plan) 9: Domain "Function": Simulation class (including the use of information equipment) 10: Domain "Utilization of data": Statistical inquiry process, probability Third day 11: Domain "Utilization of data": Development of teaching materials 12: Mathematical activities: problem solving for everyday and social events, problem solving for mathematical events 13: Mathematical Activities: Teaching Material Development 14: Simulation class (including use of information equipment) 15: Improvement of the teaching plan based on the result of the mock lesson and credit recognition test |
Prerequisites |
Since the materials used in the class are distributed, solve the problems specified by the materials, prepare for the materials themselves, and look for related materials before starting the class. In preparing the report, collect evidence, state the evidence, and summarize your discussion while citing relevant literature considerations. Also, consider the contents of the class in terms of the contents taken up in the class. |
Required Text(s) and Materials |

Assessment/Grading |
Regarding the philosophy of mathematics education, the use of numbers and formulas, figures, functions, and data, in writing tests, (ⅰ) can solve problems at the same level as the content dealt with in class, (ⅱ) can solve development problems, (ⅲ) ) If it is possible to solve a somewhat difficult developmental problem, it is “excellent” if all of (か ら) to (該当) are applicable, and “very high” if any of two are included including (ⅲ). If it includes (Yes) and (ⅱ), it is “Slightly above.” If only (ⅰ), it is “At that level.” In the case of a report, the results are evaluated in the same way as for the credit recognition test. Evaluation is based on a report (30%) on the goals, contents, teaching methods, and evaluations of the mathematics department and a credit test (70%) |
