Course description |
Soft tissue surgery is a varied discipline and includes the majority of surgical procedures that do not fall under the remit of orthopedic surgery. Areas covered include ear, nose and throat, cardiothoracic, hepatic, gastrointestinal, urogenital, skin reconstructive and oncological surgeries. In this class, students learn basic techniques for veterinary soft tissue surgery. This lecture corresponds to "Soft Tissue Surgery" in the Model Core Curriculum for Veterinary Education established by the Japanese Association of Establishment for Veterinary Education(JAEVE). This lecturer of this course has the firsthand clinical experiences at veterinary hospital, and gives lectures on clinical cases as necessary to gain knowledge on the actual clinical situations and solutions. |

Understand the causes, pathologies, symptoms, diagnostic methods, and surgical treatment methods for surgical diseases of soft tissues. Prerequisites |
