Course description |
Soil is the medium where plants grow. It is important for the agricultural production to learn the characteristics and functions of the soil. In this course, students will learn the soil components and functions in the crops production. This is part of the Courses of Production Technology and Environment, and its completion is recommended for students in the Department of Biological Production. |
Expected Learning |
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: (1) Explain the components such as soil organic matter, soil minerals and soil organisms. (2) Explain the functions in the crops production. (3) Judge the soil fertile. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps.
