Course description |
Genetic engineering had been emerged in 1970s, and now it is widely used in industrial and agricultural issues. For example, recently a number of GM crops were developed and commercially available. In this course, basics of genetic engineering, technical aspects of molecular biology and several examples of GM crops will be covered. |
Expected Learning |
The standard of this lecture is to understand molecular biology and genetic engineering of bacteria and plants. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps. https://www.tuat.ac.jp/campuslife_carrer/campuslife/policy/) |
