Course description
Photocatalyst is an inexpensive and clean technology, which enables an environmental purification only by light irradiation. In this lecture, you will study the basics of photocatalyst and some examples of its social implementation. You will also learn the latest studies on environmental purification.
Expected Learning

Course schedule
1. The basics and social implementation of photocatalyst.
2. Artificial photosynthesis by photocatalyst.
3. Water treatment with photocatalyst and diamond electrode.
4. Attempt to produce liquid fertilizer with photocatalyst and diamond electrode.
Prerequisites
The deep understanding of "Organic Chemistry" and related courses.

The assessment is based on the quality of the report. The main requirement is to explain appropriately for issues related to photocatalysis.

I will give the lectures in concise manner with my latest studies in order you to understand the basics and advances of photocatalyst. Although any specific knowledge is not required, if you have a basic knowledge of chemistry and semiconductor, you will understand this lecture easier.
