The main objective of this course is to explore and cultivate an understanding of both Japanese culture and culture of the multi-cultural background of international students through a variety of activities inside and outside the classroom. The second objective is to be able to think and act how one can contribute to a society that consists of people of diverse and multi-cultural groups. | This course carries 2 credit. In addition to 30 hours you spend in the class, and 14 hours for outside class activities, you are expected to prepare for, and review, the classes spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University for each class, using the handouts and the reference books suggested in class. |
