Course schedule |
Students will study how to solve the following exercises using programming language. Laptop PC is needed to perform numerical computations in the lecture. -Hydrostatic pressure acting on the plane -Hydrostatic pressure acting on the curved surface -Uniform flow calculation of open channel -Hydraulic calculation of pipeline -Flow calculation of the double cross waterways -Drainage time -Single pipeline -Branching and merging pipeline -Hydraulic radius of common rivers -Critical depth and uniform flow depth -Calculation of water surface profile -Unsteady flow calculation of pipeline -Unsteady flow simulation for instream habitat assessment -instream habitat assessment based on physical habitat conditions -instream habitat simulation in a reach of a river or an irrigation channel |
Prerequisites |
In addition to 30 hours of lecture time, students will learn lecture materials, international journal publications, reports issued by international organizations, and reference books to conduct self-learning before and after the class. |
