Course description |
Environmental problems occurring with drastic economic growth in the latter half of the 20th century has deepened as a whole global ecological crisis now. Diverse movements which unite and synthesize economy, society and the environment have broadened around the world, and societies where human beings can live together with nature have been proposed and discussed. In this course, we will approach and think about the possibility of such societies. *This course is included in the department's specialized courses. |
Expected Learning |
The purposes of this course are to be able to understand contemporary situations and historical backgrounds concerning environmental problems, to examine and analyze, on multi-criteria, the ways how human beings live together with nature, and to develop abilities of considering and judging, autonomously and cooperatively, problems and solutions to them among nature, society and economy. ・Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps.
