Course description
This lecture covers topics on the measurement of ecosystems and machinery, the flow of water and the mechanics & physics of soils. A series of experiments will be conducted for all the components.

【Soil mechanics and physics】
1. Permeability test
2. Solute transport experiment
3. Compaction test
4. Particle size distribution, soil particle density
5. Uni-axial compression test, triaxial compression test
6. Maximum/minimum density test, plasticity/liquid limit test
Prerequisites
In addition to 30 hours you spend in the class, you are recommended to review the classes spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University for each class, to plan out the courses to take and design how you would pursue your academic activities ahead.
