Course description |
As a required subject in the curriculum of applied physics, this lecture provides solid state physics, semicondutor physics and devices. Based on them, we will study Analog and Digital electronic circuits. |
Expected Learning |

Week 1: Introduction of semiconductors (properties and devices) Week 2-3: Solid state physics (band structures) Week 4: Basic of semiconductors (structures, intrinsic and impurity semiconductors) Week 5: Electric conduction (drift and diffusion current) Week 6: pn junction Week 7: Diodes (operation principle) Week 8-9: Transistors (operation principle) Week 10: Field-effect transistors (operation principle) Week 11-12: Analog electronic circuits (amplifier and bias circuits) Week 13-14: Digital electronic circuits (logic circuits) Week 15: Summary Examinations |
