Course description |
This course will contribute to acquiring abilities and knowledge necessary for an engineer with wide viewpoints. The course by active and leading researchers in industry aims at understanding research and development in chemistry and materials industry. The five lecturers in charge of this course has the first hand experiences on research and development in chemistry and materials industry. Practical examples in industrial research and development will be introduced, discussed and analyzed. |

Course schedule |
This is a five-day intensive course in five weeks by five lecturers, who are involved in research and development in various companies related to chemistry and materials industry. Submission of a report in each lecture is required. Lecturers will be announced at the end of September. |
Prerequisites |
In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and review the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references introduced in each lecture. |
