Course description
The objectives are to learn energy system from the supply to the consumption and to understand the relationship between energy use and environmental issues such as global warming. From the viewpoint of CO2 reduction, technologies of nuclear power generation and natural gas use are discussed. It should be noted that professional experts are invited to conduct this lecture. They are working in the fields such as energy system analysis, nuclear power generation and natural gas utilization.
Expected Learning
It is expected to understand the energy issues and how to deal with them from system engineering or technological point of view. Especially it is important to consider the relationship between technologies and the society.
