Course description
This course will provide knowledge of basic and applied researches in natural environmental conservation. Three intensive courses will be conducted.
Expected Learning
(1) Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to propose a study plan to evaluate biodiversity by using various approaches.
(2) Students will have ideas for practical use of their specialized knowledge.

Prerequisites
This is an elective course classified as a special subject. In addition to attending 30 hours of class time, students are recommended to prepare for and review the lectures, spending this university’s standard number of hours and using lecture handouts as well as references.

(1)
Evacuations will be conducted by the following two ways: 1) the presentation of three short papers which will be requested during the first, the third and fourth lectures (each 20%) and 2) individual presentation. The presentation will constitute 25% of your final grade. The presentation will be assessed by the following three criteria:
1) Contents (20%)
2) Delivery (10%)
3) Comments & questions (10%) 
The three short papers will constitute 60% of your final grade. They must be written in a page (only one page) with A4 paper
