Course description

Students attend international scientific meeting (for approximately 1 week) and learn international communication and presentation skills

Expected Learning

Students learn the research skills as researchers with an international perspective through the presentation and questioning/answering with foreign language at the international scientific meeting.

Course schedule

Students attend an international scientific meeting (for 3-7 days). They present own paper and make questioning/answering with foreign language. Specifically, students learn; ・ Preparation of presentation with foreign language and procedures for participation of academic meeting ・ Presentation with foreign languages and preparation of manuscript for presentation. ・ Presentation and Q & A with foreign language. ・ Q & A to other presentation with foreign language. ・ How to act as a chairperson with foreign language.

Prerequisites

In addition to the class time and the time required to complete the assignments, students are required to refer to the lecture materials and reference books distributed to them, and to prepare and review them in accordance with the standard number of hours at the university.
