Course description
The purpose of this lecture is to acquire knowledge about matters related to magnetic properties in electromagnetism.
You learn about the magnetic properties that were treated as supplemental matters in undergraduate classes. First, review the Coulomb's Law, Ampere's Law, Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, which are the foundation of magnetic properties, and then learn about magnetic field, magnetic moment, magnetization and so on.
Expected Learning
Students are expected to understand and explain the foundation of magnetic properties such as magnetic field, magnetic moment, and magnetization.
Students are expected to understand and explain the measurement method of magnetization using Faraday's electromagnetic induction.
Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps.
