Course description
This experiment is paired with Computer Science Seminar. Each student has his/her topic of research. Students will present their problems, ideas for solutions, results of experiments and considerations to other students and professors, discuss with them and improve their ideas.
Expected Learning
Learners who complete this course will be able to understand:
- learn how to prepare research,
- how to present the work,
- how to evaluate their experimental results.

Course schedule
1. Introduction
Introduction and lecture schedule.

2. Experimental design

3. Planning for experiments schedule

4.-7. Preparation for experiments
Students investigate ways of collecting data and evaluation of results with related papers.

8.-13. Report for your progress of research
Students present the progress of their researches at every meeting in individual laboratories.

14. Conclusions
Summarize experimental results and discuss for future work.

15. Final presentation
Prerequisites
This lecture is part of the courses in the department of computer and information science (compulsory subject). Students spend 30 hours in the class, and they are recommended to spend 60 hours for preparing and revising the lectures.

Assessment/Grading
Evaluation is made with validity in experimental results to check the ability of the followings (100%):
- learn how to prepare research,
- how to present the work,
- how to evaluate their experimental results.
In case of the online classes, the grade evaluation premises all attendances, and the attitude to learn and the presentation are comprehensively evaluated. Standard study time set by the our university is required to get the grade.
