Course description |
This course is designed to provide Ph.D. students with an opportunity to broaden their perspective through reading on previous studies in related academic field(s). By doing this, Ph.D. students can locate their own research in a broader context, being aware of the value of their research and possibilities of application, as well as having keen eyes on possible flaws in their research. |
Expected Learning |
By the end of this course, students are expected: 1. to be able to locate their own research topic in their field, and to properly explain it to researchers in other fields 2. to be able to find related research in neighboring fields 3. to be able to carry out literature review 4. to be able to write a report appropriately See the Curriculum maps. |

Prerequisites |
Those who take this particular course must belong to Uno Lab. In addition to 30 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and review the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below. |
