Course description
This course, Advanced Lecture I-III, provides students with fundamentals, applications, and topics in the fields of Chemical and Materials Systems, Bio-mechanics and Intelligent Systems, and Environment-symbiotic Production Systems.

To understand fundamentals, applications, and topics in the fields of Chemical and Materials Systems, Bio-mechanics and Intelligent Systems, and Environment-symbiotic Production Systems.

Course schedule
Course contents in Advanced I-III vary every year.The following is an example in 2019.
Detailed course description and schedule will be announced before the beginning of 3rd quarter (Oct. 2021).

This course is intensive and will be held in Tue. or Thu. from 13:00 to 18:00.

1st Production of products using coating and drying processes.
2nd Superconductivity:from the discovery to the latest topics.
3rd Regenerative medicine and stem cells, Safety evaluation and clinical applications
4th Visualization by non-destructive measurements by optics: Techniques in cosmetics
5th Mutualism between insects and germs
6th Rheology of polymers
7th Sensing of smell: inspiration from a sense of smelling in insects
8th photo-catalysts as technology for environmental detoxification
9th Future techniques for diagnosis and treatment based on optics: Integration of medical science and engineering
10th Perspectives of oil energy: electronic vehicle and roles of oil
11th Techniques to prevent plant diseases
12th Cells in Plants: chloroplast and sensing of environment
Prerequisites
Advanced Lecture I is a required course.
Students need to take three classes from the list in the above.

In addition to 15 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University.
