We learn entrepreneurial spirit, business know-how, task discovery and solution ability, broad perspective, human ability, strategic thinking through lectures and group-work, corporate customs and so on. |

Course schedule |
The content of this course can vary every year. The following is an example in 2020. 1. 11.22(Fri)13:00〜18:00 Based on experience as an entrepreneur, experience and share entrepreneur mind through group work. Also, I talk about the circumstances leading to entrepreneurship and mental attitude. Further, you can learn what is important and what skills you need acquire to make your research useful for society. 2. 11.26(Tue)13:00〜18:00 Industrial policy necessary for Japan in the globalization era Content of the lecture: Learn the international political economy operating system and think about the necessary innovation for Japan's future! Theme ・ Meaning and role of innovation in national strategy (long term plan) ・ Industry policy and entrepreneurship in the US (Government promotes ecosystem of creating new industry as the world's largest venture capitalist) ・ Japan's industrial policy (thinking the beginning of the decline of the Japanese economy and its causes) ・ Germany and Japan that repeatedly failed in the 20th century (limits of copying and pasting which is good) ・ To overcome economic stagnation (Entrepreneurship and fostering of new industries) 3. 12.20(Fri)13:00〜18:00 We will learn about “Entrepreneurship” through our bi-directional discussion and looking in your Insights at the class. One of the purposes is getting the opportunity to find what you really want to do in your entire life. Lecture content 1. What is your aim to start a business? Why and how do you intend to work? 2. How can we communicate equally in a dignified manner without disturbing people who have a different cultural background that tends to pass up on "communication" in globalization, one of the most indispensable elements of entrepreneurial spirit? 3. Understand business ideas and stories from historical and technical trends. Foster practical directions and how to distinguish olfaction, things that sniff out tasks by using workshop method. |
Prerequisites |
Students need take at least two of the lectures from Venture Business I, II and III. In addition to 15 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University. |
