Course description
Each student plans his/her topic of research. Students will present their ideas for solutions, results of experiments, and considerations to other students and professors, discuss with them and improve their plans.

Students present the progress of their researches at every meeting in your laboratory, monthly meeting for a long time and before external presentations or publishing papers. They must answer questions and comments and often advised for further progress.

This course corresponds to thesis research etc. of the curriculum of the Department of Bio-Functions and Systems Science. Students in Master course Year-1 must complete this course as compulsive.
Expected Learning
Learners who complete this course will be able to prepare:
- research theme selection,
- research scheduling,
- writing papers and patents.

Prerequisites
Students should spend 30 hours in the class, and they are recommended to spend 30 hours per week researching.

Assessment/Grading
Evaluation is made with the progress of the research (50%), presentations and publications produced students (50%).
