Course description

Experiments are done in each laboratory to improve research ability through the experiments and to learn professional knowledge as a graduate student in the master course. This course is included in Thesis Research etc. of the curriculum of the Department of Bio-Functions and Systems Science. Students in Master Course must complete this course as this is compulsory.

Expected Learning

Students who successfully completed this course will be able to conduct experiments related to ones' master thesis and obtain satisfactory results. Corresponding criteria in the Diploma Policy: See the Curriculum maps.

Week 1-30: Students will do the following activities. 1. Planning experiments 2. Performing experiments 3. Obtaining data 4. Analyzing data

This course code is only for the students belonging to Ishida Lab.

Assessment/Grading

Grading will be done by evaluating the diligence in conducting the experiments, the contents of the discussions, and the obtained experimental results (100%). The evaluation will be made by examining whether the students have made valuable achievements toward ones' master thesis.
