Understanding of inputs, transport, distribution, and fate of microplastics. Understanding of present status of contamination of marine ecosystem with plastics and microplastics. Understanding of plastic-mediated chemical contamination and impact on marine organisms and human health.. Based on above understanding, sustainable options for the solution of plastic problems can be discussed. |

We will discuss about the following topics. 1. Distribution and fate of microplastic : Inputs, transport, and distribution. 2. Contamination of marine ecosystem with plastics and microplastics. 3. Hazardous chemicals in microplastics and their accumulation in marine organisms. 4. sustainable options for the solution of plastic problems. |
