Course description |
This class is held at 10am on June 2, 2021 at 2F Conference room, Building No.1, Utsunomiya University. We discuss about current situation, the problems, and the solutions on food system, based on theories of agricultural economics and farm management. This class gives participants an opportunity to learn advanced expertise in the advanced research on agricultural economy and symbiotic society, learning forefront knowledge and technologies. This class is composed of lecture and discussion to promote participants understand. |
Expected Learning |
Participants are required to understand current situation and issues of food system and to give a solution. Participants are also required to develop the logical thinking and expression, through the several research on the food system. Check the curriculum map in “the general information and course description”, too. |
Course schedule |
This class include the following four contents. 1) Overview of the food system 2) Economic and social issues of the food system 3) Environmental issues of the food system |
Prerequisites |
Participants are required to study for 15 hours before and after class. This study is devoted to making a report, reading the textbook and checking materials provided in class. |
