Course description
【Purpose】Utilizing students’ own specialized knowledge (their research theme of doctoral course), while harnessing the thoughts and the visions the students envision for the future as a driving force, putting the future concept = vision into “shape”, and propose and practice ways to “materialize”.

【Overview (Plan)】Students will learn methods for drawing visions through self-work. They will envision Society 5.0 (super-smart society) 30 years from now, and write a paper that takes an approach on how to put the future concept = vision into “shape” and “materialize” it, based on dialogue with the people involved.

For students who are running their own start-up projects, trial projects for start-ups, or joint projects with companies, government offices, etc., attending some of the sessions will be considered as taking this course.

Expected Learning
Students will be required to write a paper and give a final presentation on how to put their own vision of the future 30 years from now into "shape" and "materialize" it, with taking a logical approach.
Course schedule
The students will propose their own vision of the future based on the basic skills acquired in the “Outline of Global Leadership” and "Seminar on New Industry Creation". Through this project, students will acquire the ability to design the society of the future and the ability to put into logic how to "materialize" it in order to realize Society 5.0 (Super Smart Society), and also the attitude and experience to put it into practice.
The details of the class will be announced to the students later.
The course is scheduled to start in June and end in September.
