Course description |
This course introduces metabolism of several nutrients including sugar, lipid, protein and nucleic acid in mammal. Especially, regulation of blood glucose level, transportation of plasma lipid, synthesis of non-essential amino acid in addition to nucleic acid are lectured. |
Expected Learning |
By the end of the course, students should be able to explain features of nutritionally important biomolecules, and to have an interest the relationship between several nutrients and biochemical basis of several metabolic diseases.
