Course description
The purpose of this course is to introduce pathogenesis, clinical findings, diagnosis and treatment of the endocrine and cutaneous diseases in companion animals. The contents of this lecture will cover the range of national board exam of veterinary licence.
Expected Learning
To understand pathophysiology, clinical findings, diagnosis and therapy of the endocrine and cutaneous diseases in companion animals.

Prerequisites
This lecture is part of Courses of Small Animal Internal Medicine and a compulsory subject in the Cooperative Department of Veterinary Medicine.
In addition to the period that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below.

Assessment/Grading
Students who attend > two-thirds of the classes and obtain a score of >30 points among the total of 50 points both in midterm and term-end exams will receive credit for this course. Students who could not fulfil the above criteria shall not be allowed to re-take the exam.
