Course description
In this lecture, students will learn basic and elementary biochemistry that is essential for the science course. In the first half, you will learn biochemistry of biomolecules such as amino acids and proteins, enzymes and vitamins, chemical messengers such as hormones and neurotransmitters, sugars and carbohydrates, and lipids. physical and inorganic chemistry related to biomolecules are also presented.
Expected Learning
Through this class, students will have deeper understanding biomolecules.

Message from instructor(s)
It is important for students to have background on wade range of chemistry especially on organic inorganic, and physical chemistry.
This lecture forms counterpart to "Biochemistry on Metabolism" in the third grade, in which the common textbook is employed. In order to cover a wade range of biochemistry, students should complete "Biochemistry on Metabolism" as well as this class.
