Course description
Participants of this course are expected to discuss environmental transformation and cycling of materials through filed researches and monitoring in various environments such as forest, atmosphere and river.

Students in the "Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Sciences (En)" need to earn 2 or more credits from "Environmental Resources Science Experiments I to IV" including this course. In addition, students who is belonging to En department, and intend to acquire a type 1 license certificate for junior high school teachers in science are required to take this course.
Expected Learning
Students are required to learn fundamental techniques in field research and experimental methods for environmental samples relevant to environment and natural resource science.

Prerequisites
Participants of this course must present the guidance on 4/20.
In addition to total hours that students spend in the field & Lab works, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time (45 hours in total) as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below.

Assessment/Grading
The grades are evaluated based on the participation attitude in the training both in the field and laboratory, and the content of the report, with a score of 50% and 50%, respectively.
