Course description |
[Overview and Purpose] Understand the structure of regional ecosystems from the standpoint of systems theory. Learn about human activities and technologies that are sustainable and in harmony with the environment. Spaces including forests, rural areas, rural areas, cities, etc. are defined as one continuous "region", and animals and plants live according to the natural environment spread there, humans perform production activities, and form society. The purpose is to explain the mechanism of the ecosystem including this human society, and to understand the outline of the way of human activity and technology that is sustainable and in harmony with the environment. 【Position in the curriculum】 This is an introductory class to understand the system of specialized subjects in the Department of Regional Ecosystems. It is a compulsory subject common subject. |
Expected Learning |
The space including forests, rural areas, cities, etc. is defined as “one continuous region". This region is forming a society. Human beings are making production activities and animals and plants live according to the natural environment spread there. The objective is to unserstand the outline of sustainable human activities and technologies that can harmonize with the environment and the mechanism of ecosystem including this human society. It is an introductory lesson to understand the system of special subjects of the Department of Regional Ecosystem Science. Prerequisites |
In this course, 90 hours of study is a standard course for 2 credits. Assuming that one piece (90 minutes) is learning for 2 hours, 15 lessons are converted as learning for 30 hours. 60 hours of preparation and review are required to meet the standard learning time. |
