In this course, method of behavioural observation is focused. This is part of the Courses of Experimental Practice Subject, and its completion is recommended for students in the Department of Ecoregion Science. |

Understanding the method of behavioural observation and the rules of selecting the sampling method for each purpose would be acquired. Students could master the methodology. |
To acquire the behaviour observation method of very fundamental of ethology, practical training is programmed in following schedule. The period of this subject is set based on the Practice Week, which is planned by the Department. Students should give attention to the Class Room of this subject. 1) Behavioural observation method Short guidance and lecture about the behavioural observation method. 2) Presentation of the plan Each group of students should plan and discuss the behavioural observation design in zoological gardens. 3) Observe animals in zoological garden Practice at Zoo. 4) Observe animals in zoological garden Practice at Zoo. 5) Presentation of the results Each group of students should present and discuss the behavioural observation results in zoological gardens. |

| In addition to hours in classes and time required for completing assignments, students are recommended to prepare for and review the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the references. |
