Course description |
The purpose of this course is to enhance students' ability of reading, listening, and presentation skills for research activities. Students are able to gain the knowledge of text structures, grammatical structures, and expressions in academic Japanese, to develop their presentation better on scientific topics. The course includes group work and activities to share their thoughts and experiences in Japanese. This course is offered to international students as a part of the Japanese language course of the Global Language and Cultural Studies. |

Prerequisites |
This course carries 1 credit. In addition to 30 hours you spend in the class, and 10 hours in completing the essay task and presentation preparation, you are expected to prepare for, and review, the classes spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University for each class, using the handouts and the reference books specified below. |
