Course description
Learn about the outline of venture businesses and business startups including related topics such like finance and marketing.
This course is offered as one of the Extended General Education courses of the Global Integrated Studies.
The lectures are designed based on his firsthand experiences of the lecturer (part-time). He has worked for the government financial institution, which provides loans for about 30,000 business startups every year. After experiencing loan and collection officer at a branch office, he has studied venture business and business startups at the research institute of the financial institution for a long year, collecting many startup cases. In addition, he got MBA in the U.S., and worked as an internship consultant for local IT venture company.
In this course, these experiences of the lecturer will contribute to improve the students’ understanding level about venture businesses, introducing not only theories but also real startup cases.
Expected Learning
Learn the basic knowledge as business persons, understanding venture businesses and business startups, including related topics such as marketing and finance, and get ability to solve problems in the reserch or in the real business world.

Prerequisites
Only applicable for from 2nd to 4th grade students.
In addition to 30 hours in the classes, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the classes using handouts, pending the standard amount of time as specified by the University.
