This course will provide students with the basics to learn Life Science English and will provide training to further enhance their ability to read and understand scientific papers. | Expected Learning |
| Students are expected to attain basic knowledge and skills in relevance to listening, understanding, and presenting science in English. |
| Course schedule |
| Using molecular biology as a basis, lectures will be presented in English and students will learn to listen and pick up important vocabulary. In addition they will perform presentations and discussions based on a recent hot topic to further enhance their ability to speak and discuss in English. Finally, exercises will perform in-class to promote their ability to understand scientific papers. |
