Course description
In this lecture, the lecturers will explain the knowledge of medicine that it is necessary in the medical field as a medical engineer, which is based on the assumption that the students are already learned "Clinical Medicine Basics" and "Physiology". In this lecture, the functions of heart, lung, liver and motor system and the pathogenesis of them are explained from the viewpoint of a human as mechanical devices.
Expected Learning
To understand the characteristics and the problems of each mechanical system to contribute to medical technology and medical devices. Refer to the curriculum map of the course guide.
Course schedule
The theme of the lecture is "recognition of human body as mechanisms". The lecture is omnibus-style. The topics are shared by both the medical doctor and the engineer. Recent progress of medical technology is explained based on the experience of the field.
